Wow! Thanks for the birthday notes. Paul, the Ramones, THREE cakes (the values of the three are in base 5 aren't they?), and nice some very words. Thanks again.

To my fellow Eastern Shore-folk, hope you are having a great day and find something great in every day ahead.
Happy Birthday!

Thank you Milt. I'm enjoying not having to go out in the cold and snow today.

We're taking the kids out sledding today. This has been a banner sledding season for the shore. Let us know what you are having for your birthday dinner!

There are no sledding spots in the Greater Metropolitan Reliance urban area. I seem to recall there may be a spot or two near your home. This has been a good year for the sledders. This snow is so powdery this time that you'd need a flying saucer type vehicle to get the most from it.
I'm having leftover standing rib roast for dinner tonight. It is leftover from Christmas dinner. I always freeze some for my birthday. It re-heats nicely using a kitchen sink "sous-vide."

Happy birthday Jack! Another year of sharing the O's with you is always something to celebrate.
Skipjack - January 31, 2010 07:00 PM (GMT)
Thank you Gersh…maybe this year we'll have more O's wins to celebrate.

Happy belated B-day Jack!
Skipjack - February 1, 2010 03:23 PM (GMT)
Thanks Bark…I think that birthday celebrations should be based on the Christmas model…12 days so this would be day 2.

I have heard that they should be based off the band-aid model. The faster you pull them off, the less painful they are. :P

Good point for those who are middle-aged (Sluggo, comes to mind). But I think after you start collecting those Social Security checks you like the idea of having a lot more birthdays.

Dialing in fashionably late from the left coast with my birthday wishes, but they are no less heartfelt.
Have a great 11 more days.
Regards,
Andrew
