Snyder seems to have reasonable perspective. Had a good spring:
Snyder was 6-for-18 with one home run and three RBIs in 13 games. He also played some impressive defense at first base, and said he was good with the move because he knows where he stands in the organization.
"You go in looking to win a job, whether you're the last person who had that job or you're fighting for the job," Snyder said. "And I feel like if you do that and put your best foot forward, then it shows up on the field. You don't leave anything behind, and I feel like that's what I did.
"I understand my place right now, and I understand my place in the organization right now. It might not necessarily be where I want to be, but again, I'm going to keep putting in the work so that I can be where I want to be."

Sarfate has uncertain future?
Bell has need for at least another season in the minors.
Uehara may also not last. simply unable to perform. INjury magnet.
I like Snyder's attitude. Even if he turns out not to be a big power hitter, I think he could be a Nick Johnson-type OBP machine. I'd be happy with that.
Perhaps he'll turn his impressive start into a impressive season. Then, one of the higher hopes of the organization from a few years ago will come through. There has clearly been a good eye for pitchers; now, good position players must be added. There are no second basemen in the organization, as somebody (RO and others) has noted. And no SSs or other catchers or even third basemen.
