Title: Power outages

Anyone else take notice of the really high frequency of no-hitters and near no-hitters lately? Last night, two starting pitchers took no-hitters into the 7th inning in the same game. This season is shaping up to be the bizarro-world opposite of the 1987 "juiced ball" season.

It is likely the after-effect of the steroid crackdown.

Milt:

I am channeling Barry Bonds, and I must give you his response:

Steroids does not help your hand -- eye coordination. These hitters could not hit any better if they were on steroids. As if steroids helps in any way.

Ugh, I am back.

Milt: If you have any comeback, I'll try to call him back from the health food store.

Flaxseed oil anyone? I bet Barry gets the bulk discount on that product. . . . Or was that Gary Sheffield. Gary definitely like the stuff, it gave his skin that nice sheen.

I know they don't. But healing hurts a lot longer and getting back to where you were takes a lot more work. The old-fashioned way back before performance pills. Okay, endurance pills.
