I never knew anyone was paying attention to me lurking. It's a slow news period unless your team is signing FA's to ridiculous contracts.

i do so agree mary...was agonizing knowing that they were no doubt still considering plans B and C and, what that hell, maybe plan F during the holidays, but still hearing nothing for days on end. i think this weekend's news about Huff was about the best thing i've heard all offseason, mostly because it was such a relief to find out they hadn't just given up, but also hearing what they were able to sign him for in this crazy market.

I think it's been slow mostly because of the lack of activity after the winter meetings. It should pick up again as the season nears.

It's the holiday season. Lots of people traveling with minimal access to the internet. I just returned from my travels rested, tanned, refreshed, and still ornery about the Orioles chances this season. :baghead:

Yes, I agree that a lot of the inactivity is due to the holiday season and probably the success of the Ravens.
